Quickly....

On my way back out to the garden, I wanted to post this:

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/09/dining/09kool.html

Saw that on the Cooking LJ group and laughed right out loud.

I fully expect to see these at a faire soon!

Can I just say, "Ewww!" Doesn't sound good to me, but I suppose if one were in front of me, I would try it, just to see! (And to say I did...)

I'd try it twice. First to make sure it didn't kill me, then to see if I liked it.

Still, I've become jaded by the LJ racist brigade. My first thought was, "damn, that guy could have saved himself several hundred words and a paragraph or two by adding BLACK PEOPLE EAT THESE to the headline"

....I want a blue raspberry pickle so bad right now and I don't even know why

Strangly... I want to try one. And I have to agree with the twice...

I'm oddly intrigued. And a little disturbed...

*puckered*

I just wanted to say uh, I have no response. I got puckered up just reading the article. But then again I like peanut butter and Kraft real mayo sandwiches with Lays original potato chips mised in the peanut butter. So, there ya go.
Sounds like you had fun in the garden! We are a little swampy out here in Newalla. Maybe Friday I can work on the walk down to the deck.

soon at a Faire near you:

*grin*
sure, I'd try it...strawberries and a good dill go together anyway
