Google is your friend....

This is pretty cool; I was looking for a quick estimate to mileage between this town and that one (Joplin or Springfield and Tulsa, if ya wanna know) and ran across this nifty site.

http://www.ersys.com/index.htm

It gave me a graph with exactly the information for which I was looking, and then a whole lot more in addition. Yes, I bookmarked it but I'm upstairs on this who-knows-when-it's-gonna-crash computer so I put it here as well.

Heck, it might come in handy to someone else on my flist as well.

Have you looked at Google Maps yet? In the Get Directions section you can move the start/finish positions around, as well as use waypoint markers so you can plan trips with legs.

Yeah, I have but that's great for something different like planning a trip or looking for a route or scouting out a place. I wanted something easy and cut and dried like this for estimating cost of mileage for a faire budget.

Google maps are great for other stuff; this was perfect for what I need.

*chuckle* Well good!

This is honestly the first day this week I have felt the least bit a-musing!

To clarify, this is exactly what I was looking at:

Here's a nifty little tool that I ran across recently.
