Quickly...

I had the kitchen window open for awhile to air out. Apparently poor stupid Nell jumped out without me noticing.

Now she's by the fence in the side yard, looking at me through the window, like, "How'd I get out here and now what do I do?" ...If she was only intelligent enough to put those feelings into thoughts, which is highly doubtful.

Perhaps if I open the window again, she'll jump back in.

Silly kitty.

Poppies... Err. Wrong species...

Tuna... Tuna will lure her back in...

I wanna be Nell in my next life. No brains, no worries. Just drifting along waiting for the next meal and the next petting.

Sounds pretty good.

I found running the electric can opener usually worked. Of course it only works if you have an electric can opener and have ever given your cat canned food. Mine only get canned food with pop tops now and they've made it very clear they know the difference between the sound made by the pop top on a can of Pepsi and the sound made by the pop top on a can of Fancy Feast.
