I have said, and I will continue to say, that America - the people, and the government - is the strongest in the world. The tactics that I've heard over the past few month echo quite a bit the sentiment of a party that rose in Germany back in the early 30's.

It is warming to me that those tactics, which worked so well back then, are being rejected by the media and the American people and those tactics are brought to light for the divisiveness and hatred they attempt to inspire.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I think McCain knows he has lost. His side kick has not clue. She be happy being “Caribou Barbie” and a SNL ROCK STAR. Of course she was not picked for her brains, as is demonstrated by the latest interview with McCain having his puppy dog at his side for this next interview on NBC..

Ever since Denise posted that vid about Olbie telling Shrub to "shut the hell up", I've been a steady watcher of Countdown on the web as I don't have cable and can't see the entire show.

I've become an Olbermann fan myself. I will no longer allow dominionist crackpots to spew lies in my presence unrefuted. I will actively engage them rather than let it pass. They LIVE on the idea that they are an oppressed minority of "true Christians" and "true Americans", when they are the oppressors themselves. I increasingly not a minority. This kind of rabid, poisonous pedagogy must not be ignored because it's "obviously wrong". They've learned the big lie technique that Goebbels perfected in the 1930's. If a distortion or lie is big enough, no one will question it because how could anyone have the audacity to lie about something like that.

If I've committed a Godwin, then Mea Culpa. Dominionists sound more like fascists with each passing day.
