Ok, here are some of the new pics that heyitschris1 just took of Queen's Gambit yesterday. For the record, I'm IMMENSELY critical of pics of me and won't be using any of the individual shots of me. What an incentive to lose weight, ye gods! NOT Chris' fault by any means.

But we do need help choosing the pic which will go on our newly-written web-site. Yes, we're changing it so that we'll have less focus on Renfaires and more as professional musicians.

So....please help us choose so I won't have to do it! We all put down our preferences and these are the ones which at least two of us chose. Bruce is still working recording so he hasn't chosen any yet.

Hmm... 6, 18, and 42 are my top three in that order. I like the dyamics of 6, which shows a strength between the members and the way the players are organized. Number 6 also has the outline of the alchemical sign for Virgo. Not only is it the number 006 in the photos, but Virgo is also the 6th sign of the zodiac, is ruled by the planet Mercury, the messenger, is a mutable earth sign and is the only Feminine sign.

I like the tree in 18, and the action in 42... but 6 is my top pick.

None of the above. I like the one Nikki posted on FB where DJ is looking back at Bruce after he mentioned nipples or whatever. :-) It's good of everyone, but very natural and candid and NOT posed for.

The problem with a still shot of everyone singing is that it looks like everyone is catching flies. :-)

30 if it HAS to be one of these.

I could continue with why I think 6 is the one... It shows your faces completely and they show a confidence in your ability and the cohesiveness of the band. The ones that don't show your full faces will never do. People want to see your eyes. There is a tightness and a tenseness to the group that indicate that you are READY. All the other pictures show a much more relaxed version of the band, which is great for the back cover, but not for an intro shot.

The background on 6 is okay, and doesn't detract, but I do like the curve of the tree in 18. The only problem with the background in number 6 is that it looks like a bad haircut, but I'm being very picky.

Yeah, the more I look, the more I like number 6 out of all of them.

30 gets my vote--you're all looking directly at the camera, you're all posed well without looking *too* posed, and it's a very flattering shot of all of you.

18 would be a good second choice, except for (and this may be my dirty mind here)--you can't see where Bruce's left hand wound up, and the imagination can go active. *grin*
