AmberBob auction Follow-Up
Sep. 3rd, 2009 09:31 amTWO WEEKS IS LONG ENOUGH!
I should've done this last week; but the computer problems make it difficult to post anything detailed; can't be online for more than 15 minutes at best. I've re-started the computer 3 times since I started posting this. *sigh*
Anyway...
There are 4 auctions still outstanding:
Donation 1, Tarot reading by
bleuberi21, which was won at $30.00. I haven't heard a word from the winner.
Donation 9, Photographic artwork by Russ Matthews, 3 prints at $15 each. I have heard from the winner, but not in a week or so.
Donation 13, manicure and polish by Nottygypsy, $20 winner.I haven't heard a word from the winner. Should be paid later today.
Donation 22: Private Table Top Game session (World of Darkness) with
archway was not bid upon; such a wonderful opportunity! (But I guess I don't I have many local to Kansas City avid gamers on my flist, do I?)
Donation 24, Tarot reading by
featherynscale, won at $25; haven't heard a single word from winner. Have heard from her; she'll be paying today! Woot!
Auction 32, Handmade Handkerchief by
lys1022. One was bid upon; one remains available.

AmberBob and I have been in nearly constant contact, so I know exactly who has paid, in order to send the mailing info to April to generate labels. All labels for which I had payment and mailing information were generated and mailed out.
I am sending one more follow-up reminders to all auction winners who have not paid. If all remaining auctions are not paid by tomorrow, Friday, I will be offering them back up to either the next higher bidder, or on the case that no other bids were made, I will re-list them for bidding.
At this time, if anyone else wishes to offer auction items, I will be doing another mini-auction. Sorry folks, but I consider a bid on this venue to be a virtual contract; an agreement that should be concluded speedily. I don't mean to be harsh but we really do need to finish this up. I think two weeks to conclude this business is more than long enough.
DONORS, please note: I need to hear from each of you as to when you mail/have delivered on your auction item. Not to be controlling or anything, but I need to make sure that everyone who has paid, has received their winning auction item. The mailing labels went out several days ago; IF YOU RECEIVED a mailing label, this means that the donor has paid and that you can send out the item. PLEASE let me know when you have mailed out your donation to the auction winner.
For those winning auction items that involve services, please also let me know when you have either arranged for completion or have completed it. I really would like to "dot the 'i's and cross the 't's" to have all details tidied up.

AmberBob HAS HER CAR, after a great deal more hassle with the dealership, but she needs to re-pay her mother who pitched in the remaining money.
Thank you to everyone who bid and who paid up so quickly and responded so enthusiastically. Amber is grateful and so am I. My friends and their friends all rock exceeding much.
