*sigh*

What's the line? "Some days it just ain't worth the effort of chewing through the straps."

Yeah. Well, seems that there are a lot of angry, hurting people all over right now. Seems like there are some folks who just can't keep from gossip and drama and back-biting and causing conflict. But you know what, I'm just done with it all.

I have the most wonderful partner who loves me, others who love me, a lovely home with loving (if messy) companion animals, work to do that I (mostly) enjoy and a beautiful garden that is growing huge (and needs weeding.) I have talented people in the band to play with and make beautiful music that people love to listen to and dear friends who love me and whom I love. I have my health and sufficient energy (most of the time) to do whatever I wish to do. I had to grin at Yolonda' hubby Joe when he said, "You have one finger joint that bothers you...hell, you're doing pretty damned good!"

So the rest of it, I just let go. Negativity I do not have time nor energy for can just go away; I refust to accept it. I'd much rather spend my time being happy and doing things to make my little corner of the world a better place.

"We do this for fun!" Right? Right.

Yes! And I'll loan it to you when I'm done with it. I also call it "the cosmic clue-by-four!"

*grin* Thanks! ...ditto.

Oh, oh, oh..... ::dances madly about, waving a hand::

May I pretty please borrow it when you are done? Just for one day? I've got some people in mind. (If you are on my flist, read my latest journal entry and you'll know who.....)

"Doing it for fun" - see, I told you it was a good mantra.

Oh, there's a back story there. *Mumblemumble* years ago when Jim S. and I started the 'Hawkers' program, that was our tag line and what we said at the end of every meeting.

"We do this for fun!" Sometimes it's said through gritted teeth...
