The way this is done at OKRF is recognition at morning meeting by the presentation of an "outstanding Castletonian" pin by the owner himself who is a very hand-on guy even down to dressing in costume on a daily basis and getting out and dancing and stuff. The faire is his dream child and he is addressed as "The Steward" of the Castle.
Lovely thing to do and I wish more people would get in on finding deserving folk; this fella happens to be a street vendor and wonderful street interactor. I think he'd win a popular vote as 'best new guy on the streets' even including cast members.
