I've ganked this from [livejournal.com profile] gmskarka...

A Good Cause
My friend (Gareth's, not mine; I just admire the man) James Wallis (he of Nobilis, Baron Munchausen and Once Upon A Time fame) is doing something quite cool.

He's going to walk from Winchester Cathedral to Canterbury Cathedral, along the Pilgrims’ Way through Hampshire, Surrey and Kent, as the medieval travellers would have done it -- with no maps. He's doing it to raise money for Cancer research.

He's got a blog about it, 120maplessmiles, which has been syndicated to Livejournal here.

The post wherein he explains what he's up to, and provides links for pledges and such, can be found with this link.

Check it out, and if you can, pledge some ducats. It's a very worthy cause, and being done in a very cool manner."

I'm gonna.....and very soon I'm gonna get a copy of Baron Munchausen since I love the movie and Bruce has never seen it! (Boy, I hope I did the links right!)

OMG

He hasn't? Run, run and at least rent a copy today! Or you know, when you have a spare moment or two. I'm guessing at least after this weekend!

Yeah, I know. I think I'll maybe ask for it for my birthday and show it then.

Oh yeah, my birthday falls on a Saturday this year and that happens to be a free weekend. So we're throwing a party here at the house. Just decided.
