Please do come and visit; I think it's going to be a really good time. He is an awesome fella who's taking on all this new information and steep learning curve with a great deal of aplomb and class.
It'll be the only other soft-site faire in the midwest other than Norman so it'll be interesting just from that POV; we're trying to be pretty durned accurate.... Bearing in mind that "Renaissance Festivals are to History as Etch-I-Sketch is to Art."
