This is the best article I've read lately on how to combat loneliness, how to learn to become more emotionally self-sustaining, some really good basic tips for folks who may not have learned about self-care and socializing from their family while growing up.

Yea, ysabetwordsmith brings the awesome, but I'm here via vixyish [speaking of amazing women]. I seem to have missed most of the auctions, but would you have any Queen's Gambit cds for sale? I've heard of y'all via SongHenge, but don't have any cds yet.

I think that auctions are still going to be posted; I have more stuff to post yet as well.

But yes, Queen's Gambit CDs are always available. We have six out currently. Purchasing them can be done either of two ways; I can either sell them to you directly, email me at rowangolightly (at) gmail (dot) com or you can go the web-site which is www.queens-gambit.com which has a link to our CD Baby page.

Well, the CDs don't just belong to me; the proceeds are split between whomever was playing on each CD. Bruce and I are on all of them, of course, and the formula gets more complex after that.

If, however, you buy them directly from me and I mail them to you, that does save the fee that CD Baby charges so that the whole proceeds come to the band.

If you've looked at the web-site, you see that we have 6 CDs out (and working on another one as well as a demo CD.) They are each $15, so that would be $90.

We also have 2 compilations that we've done and are on; "An AfFaire of the Hart" which is a benefit for White Hart Renaissance Festival, where I play Queen Elizabeth I. It features Queen's Gambit, Captain Black's Sea Dogges, C. Wayne Owens, Lady Nancy, Ezra and Dilly and Cedric the Fiddler, with one original song by him that isn't on any other CD. It's also $15. If you want that one as well, the total would be $105.
