September Jewelry Sale, PART 2
Sep. 23rd, 2012 01:36 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
EDIT 9/24: I have removed the items that have sold so that it's easier to view (and to manage) the remaining stuff that is for sale. Thanks, and please keep shopping!
Here is the second part of the jewelry and stuff sale. I'm reposting the business details part of it to make things easy, I hope. This is just part of the stuff I have to photograph to sell and I haven't even gotten started on the costumes yet; the stuff most easy to grab and shoot yesterday during the daylight while my power was out. I will be listing some of this stuff on the Facebook RenGarb group when I can get to it.
Business details: Items listed here are by the photograph numbers. Payment can be cash, checks (if I know you well) or PayPal to this email: rowangolightly@gmail.com.
I must charge shipping for out of town sales and *will* insure them; the buyer's preference on shipping method but my default will be USPS. There will not be any added "handling charge" as padded envelopes are free from the Post Office. If I deliver the items to folk in town, I might need to add a fuel charge since gas is that expensive right now.
Oh, and the pricing is negotiable; if you really love something, ask me and we'll discuss it. Please, start your comment with the number and title of the piece you wish to buy as I have many items that have similar stones and that will save me time; of course, time is money for a self-employed person. I'll hold the item for 24 hours to await payment; I think it has to remain available until the item has been paid for. If multiple people want to purchase an item, I'll open bidding on that item within the comment line.
I've collected some gorgeous things that I'm now willing to sell and remember, it's not too early to do holiday shopping! Remember that most of these things were hand-crafted by an artisan and purchasing something here rather than a store actually helps a self-employed person rather than a corporation.
I really would like for this to work out; trim my overage of stuff and for my friends to get lovely things in return.
SOLD 078-079. 12 C Gold Double-sided Ruby/Sapphire Cross sale price: $100
Gold filigree reversible cross has rubies set in one side and sapphires in the other. This was a gift from my then-partner, Charles Brunner, in 1988, when our characters, Princess Jacquelyn and Prince Charles were getting married at KCRF. As a fun “in character” gift, I'd hand-made him a silk shirt. The morning of the 'wedding', before we went out for front gate, he stopped me and said, “Wait a sec, I have something for you” and this was dangling from his hand. He put it on me and we went out for our Entrance and I swear I really was glowing like a bride. I haven't worn it in years as I feel it would be hypocritical for me to wear a Christian symbol these days. The cross measures 1-1/4" in length. Pictures do not do this justice.

080. Antique gold-tone cufflinks with a blue stone sale price: $10
These a are a striking pair of antique deco-looking cufflinks purchased and then not used for the wedding.

SOLD 084. Black Hills Gold Pendant in tear-drop shape with leaves and amethyst. Sale price $20
I honestly don't remember how I came by this but it is lovely and very dainty. Just not something I wear.

089, 090. Silver pendant with Mother of Pearl Cameo set with 4 square Iolites. Sale price $45
Lovely round pendant of Sterling silver set with stunning MoP cameo and cardinal accents containing square Iolites; measures 2" including solid bale. No clue where I bought this but I just fell in love with it.

091, 092. Teal freshwater pearls, turq. Austrian crystals strung necklace with silver accents. Sale price: $75
A truly lovely pearl, CZ and aquamarine bead necklace and earring set from that one shop at KCRF which is no longer there. I didn't have anything to match the new court garb that day and she got me when she saw I had a bare neck.

093, 094. Gold set Rhinestone CZs and green teardrop CZ necklace; matching earrings sale price $25
Bridesmaid's-type set of jewelry with lovely 'fire' in the rhinestones, measures 17” in length. Perfect for prom, dressy date night or stage.

095 Black stone cameo set in gold sale price $50
I purchased this set at the jewelry shop that used to be up from the Mayor's pavilion at faire, where the oil shop is now (which shop is still at Scarby, right at the front of the faire.) I was told this was ebony but not quite certain about that. Still, they're pretty and very Victorian looking. Pendant to be attached to a black velvet ribbon and matching earrings. Necklace cameo measures 1-1/2".

096, 097. Green Goldstone & freshwater pearl necklace with gold spacers. sale price $150
Another set I bought out at faire from the lovely shop just across the bridge; wasn't gong to buy anything but she had me take it out into the sun to see how the goldstone sparkled and I was sunk. And another one I really don't want to part with but needs must will out right now. Necklace length is 18". These pictures do not do this set any justice, does not show the fire in the green goldstone.

098. Silver necklace with pink paua shell pendant. sale price $15
A really lovely pendant with a swirly Art Deco silver design that I've had for years; not sure why I even have it since pink is not my color. Measures about 1-1/4"

099, 101, 102. Wire-wrapped ring set with oval rutilated quartz sale price $100
Another renfaire purchase, I think made by Deanna again. This is a gorgeous piece of gold rutilated quartz in a truly stunning gold setting. Size 5-1/2. (Sorry for the blurry pics.)

104-105. Amethyst Tube Beads, Amethysts & Pearls, set in Sterling Silver sale price $50
This lovely, elegant but simple 17" choker has a hook latch closure and a old-fashioned charm with the amethyst tube beads interspersed with carved amethyst beads and pearls; matching earrings that I just need to find in the jewelry box.

109-110. Blackstone Geode faceted pendant set in silver filigree bale. sale price $75
This is a striking piece, a massive chunk of blackstone geode, measuring about 3 x 4” and set with a filigree bale to be worn as a necklace.

113, 114. White gold butterfly necklace with diamonds, amethysts and sapphires. sale price $150
Yes, real diamonds and real sapphires. Approximately the size of a nickel. This was a very expensive, truly gorgeous, classy Christmas gift early on from the ex which is why I'm not keeping it.

116. Modern pendant in Sterling silver, set with multiple stones. sale price $50
This is a bold and striking piece, measuring 1-1/2” x 3” in a zig-zag design set with smoky quarts, citrine, amethyst, iolite, amber, garnet and peridot with a simple silver bale to go on a chain or collar.

119, 120. Gold-tone choker and dangle earrings, set with CZ rhinestones. sale price $30
These are Monet (I think that's right) brand; the type of jewelry my Father always bought for my Mother a lovely thought when my ex bought them but not something I can wear any longer. The necklace is a 17" length and earrings to match. This has a classic modern appeal for wear either with business dress or an evening out. The CZ rhinestones have a lovely fire.

129,131. Beige Freshwater pearl, Austrian Crystal and silver bead necklace set. sale price $100
Another of the pearl and CZ sets I purchased at KCRF at lovely shop (I think her name is CC; some double initial anyway) that is no longer there, strung with beige freshwater pearls interspersed with AB gold Austrian crystals and silver fluted spacers. Matching earrings (only one is pictured but I swear I have both.)

161, 163 Sterling Silver Crown set with Amethysts. sale price $400
This is a stunning solid sterling silver crown set with amethysts made by Jeff Gonner for my character Princess Jacquelyn to match the one worn by Charles Brunner which I wore for many years at KCRF. This is a steal at this price.

164,170 Wire-wrapped Gold Crown, set with Amethyst beads, pear-shaped CZ and emerald-cut Alexandrite in cross. sale price $500
This came from a shop at KCRF which hasn't been there for many years; this crown was in a display case out front of their shop. After I fell in love with it, I negotiated and made both owners multi-piece, mix and match sets of costumes in exchange for it. The price tag on it then was $1800, so once again, this is an absolute steal for a one of a kind, stunning crown.

The ring is yours! And it would be awesome to see you!
