Now in more mundane news: I'm lucky, very lucky this morning. I've always maintained that...I'm extremely lucky, always have been...it's just not always good luck. *sigh*

Oh yes, and...

My sweetie posted a 'rare' rant...about that 'do you read me' meme. And I have to agree. I love you all; all, um, 217, whoops no, now it's 218 as of just now. And I read nearly everything that you all write even if I have to go back and catch up sometimes and even if I don't comment. But I ain't gonna go to each one of you and tell ya so...if I care enough to have you on my flist (and yes I *am* particular to some degree about who I friend back; no whiners, no liers, no perpetual drama-queens, no bigots, thanks!) then I read you, ok?

The schmoodly meme that folks responded to, I'll have to do on Monday...today is busy!

But the news I've been bursting to report for a whole week now! We're going to Minnesota Renaissance Festival for opening weekend...next weekend! We'll be playing for the Maypole Dancers since their regular musicians are at the local Irish Festival, so no stage shows but we've asked for busking and CD sales permission. We're very excited and hope that all our friends 'up thataway' will come out and see us.

I have to add...

...that I DON'T hate anybody. Nobody, not gay, not Christian, not...whatever. I'm anti-hate. I don't have an agenda here, nor do most of my friends, whether they are Christian, Jewish or Pagan. The idea is to try to love one another MORE and to hate LESS. And I'm not trying to attack anybody's beliefs, just give me the leave to live my life the way I choose and the rights to my own beliefs, ok?

It's bigotry and smallmindedness and devisiveness that I pity and yes, hate. But I don't hate people, ok? Some folks are naturally easier to love than others. I'll readily admit that folk who choose to deceiver, manipulate and all that other nasty stuff are not in the easy-to-love category but I still try. I'm not on any great crusade here *sigh* I'm just trying to make a bit of difference in my little corner of the world.
