I love Gmail links with my email account. I find some of the niftiest stuff there.

This morning it was a link to an interview with Dick Van Dyke. Now anybody know knows me at all, knows how much I adore him; what an amazing man, performer and human being. There are three comedians I idolize; Dick Van Dyke, Red Skelton and Danny Kaye. Yeah, LOVE!

This made me smile:

Mom and I used to watch the Dick Van Dyke show together and Red Skelton and any Danny Kaye movie we could find. Lovely memories!

I need to own "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!" I've seen it but it's been a very long time.

*ROFL* And then, gmail gives me this link:

I'm off to get trimmed and re-redded but I wanted to leave you with a few things in my absence, stuff I ganked from others on my flist.

And this, which is NOT work safe, but tremendously funny. You have to listen to it with the sound, really!

Now, this is one I ganked from [livejournal.com profile] softpaw I LOVE this! Anybody why knew Perry-dog or the great Barney-killer, Dixon, can understand why I love this clip so much.

And this amazing story, of which I'd already heard, but not in this much detail.

Yeah, I admire the sentiments of his conclusion...yes indeed.

Sorry I didn't embed them but I'm in a hurry...

I love 'em; my heart lifts on the rare occasion when I see them. Their color is just so beautiful and their song so cheery and uplifting.

And that's why... )

It's from a somewhat unlikely source but a very exciting find for anyone interested in Tudor history...
