Bruce called me on the way to work and said, "take the van to the Kum & Go (on OK-51) and fill it up. Gas there is $3.09." and so I did...dressed in my gardening clothes and all.
I filled it up and spent damnear $60 for 5/8 of a tank.
In the amount of time it took me to drive across the street, grab a cup of coffee and eat the hard-cooked egg I'd brought with me, the gas went up to $3.19.
Yikes. And I understand that it's $3.29 at other places in Tulsa.
People, we have got to take alternative fuel ideas seriously. Really.
Now I'm back out to the garden. And then up to the sewing room.
