rowangolightly: (Bride & AmberBob)
I have a few (12) items from the AmberBob auction that have yet to be paid for. I think a couple of them are checks coming in the mail, but the ones that concern me are the folk I don't know who popped in to bid on something and from whom I've not heard a single word.

I have no way to make people pay, just reminding them hasn't worked so far; a few of them I've not heard from at all. This concerns me. The only real recourse I have is to embarrass them, which I hesitate to do but will if that is the only way. I WILL list people by LJ name here tomorrow if they haven't paid...sorry, but I know of no other way to get this done. I've commented to each unpaid auction on the listing; I've emailed people. I'm nearly at wits end here.

Please, friends who bid and won and haven't yet paid...please do so today!

The figure outstanding is $366. AmberBob wants to pick up her car on Friday. It takes 3-4 working days for an amount transferred from PayPal to a band account to register. Today is Tuesday; it is 3 days until Friday. Today would be the last day that payments could be made to her PayPal that she could possibly get by Friday.

And too, if anybody has any extra money laying around that they don't know what to do with...pitch it on over to AmberBob. We're a little short and any amount would help. The email address is: leaghasybil (at) yahoo (dot) com.

On the deliveries/mailings of auction items; I'll be going to see April today to get her the list of addresses and weights for shipping labels, so far as I've been able to collect.

Edit: It has been decided that all auction items that have not been paid for by Thursday will be opened up for a second round of bidding.

This means that on Friday morning, I will be starting another auction for all the remaining items that were not paid for, plus any other items that are submitted to me by then.

Ganked from AmberBob and changing slightly...

My dear friend, (my sister band-mate) fantastic teacher and violin player is offering lessons, both group and private, in the Central Oklahoma area. If you or someone you know would be interested, please pass this link to her Craigslist ad along:

I believe that music is one of the greatest gifts we can give, either to ourselves or a loved one, and instilling the love of it in someone is one of the kindest things we can do for them. Please support your local school music programs, and support those whose love of music inspires them to share that love with others.

Hear, hear and thanks for posting this, Amber.
