What's the biggest good surprise you've ever had? This one is easy - and recent. The biggest good surprise was my birthday this year and the lovely presents from Bruce. I journalled the event quite-sufficiently-gushily in August. The lovely QEI medallion hangs on my altar, and the roses have been dried and are there too. I have a sneaking suspicion, with loving this wonderful man that this category will need to be up-dated in the future.
What's the biggest bad surprise you've ever had? That's easy too. August 18, 2002; coming home after a 10 day Statue of Liberty gig at the Iowa State Faire to find that Pete and Deb had packed up and moved away, leaving me a note on the kitchen counter. 'Nuff said, it's all been worked through, lessons learned and is now ancient history.
