I'm fulfilling a promise here. I've tried other more subtle ways to go about this but no one seems willing to answer my emails.

I need to find a Druid either local to the Springfield MO area or willing to travel there on or about March 31st for a memorial ceremony for a dear friend and her recently departed husband.

Ah, thank you...it's good to know. You'll have to come and visit our faire grounds sometime. Charles' memory tree is in our sanctified Grove; it's a wonderful place with just amazing energy.

I've actually been quite amazed by the energetics of the Oklahoma landscape. On the one hand, it just doesn't 'add up' with the whole bible belt mentality that is prevalent here.. but on the other, perhaps it is just the Lady's way of maintaining the balance in the land.

Actually, the faire site is a half hour east of Springfield, MO which has plenty of it's own Blble Belt mentality prevalence. I will however, admit that OK has a greater discomfort with alternative lifestyles. I've just lived her for 4 years, moving down here to live with my sweetheart in '03.

We didn't plant a tree for this service; his wife found a large oak tree that 'spoke' to her and that's what she chose. As if to hit the nail with a sledgehammer to prove a point, there was a coyote skull sitting underneath of it, waiting for her.
