Mar. 27th, 2007 07:02 amLots to do today/this week but feeling up to it. This cinches it, not that there was any doubt.
It might feel a little bit awkward and strange as you take on new roles in life, but then you realize that change is inevitable. Accept transitions, and they'll gradually become easier. This new role suits you to a tee.
Um, no, not at all...neither awkward nor strange. I've always known change was inevitable; it's really the only thing on which you can count. I've 'reinvented' myself so many times now that I"ve lost count.
Here's your Tarot Reading for MARCH 27, 2007.
Love Touchstone Career
The Fool The Sun Justice
With the Sun in combination with the Fool, today you give off an infectious zest for life that enchants everyone around you, Susi. To look at you, anyone would think you're in love! Your company is a delight and, while still managing to preserve a degree of freedom, you don't hesitate to commit yourself in your relationships and declare your love. In the work sphere, the Sun is rising under the best of auspices. When paired with Justice, this solar influence provides you with determination and willpower that will allow you to climb the highest peaks. You're very much on the alert and you can really push through your ideas and your decisions. You're after something concrete and real, you want success, and you're making things happen. All this brings out the best in you, even though you might feel pooped by the evening.
"...pooped by evening." *lol* Ya think?
We went out and did yard work after Bruce got home; he mowed and I raked and pulled weeds and we trimmed a pine that'd been damaged behind the pond (that needs to be cleaned out) and hauled all that back to the back burn pile. As I'd been cultivating the front of the garden getting it ready to plant just before that, yeah, pooped about covered it.
I think I inadvertently raised my MILF factor whilst doing so. I'd gone out to work wearing what I'd been wearing around the house; purple VS built-in bra tee and cotton-lycra work pants. Well, that shirt has cleavage a-plenty but I don't think about that; it's comfortable. The teen-aged boys were gathered at the neighbor's across the street playing grunge rock that sounds like someone's screaming indescipherable vitriol into the microphone. I was chuckling because, well, it just amused me that they're so certain they're unique in their rebellion whilst standing outside Daddy's house when I finally was aware of being stared at. *sigh* Ah, well...as Bruce said, "that's a Tulsa detective who lives there; I'm not too worried." I wasn't worried, more amused than anything else. As Amber noted, probably anybody else they know with boobs are too uptight to show that much. I was just being comfortable and getting work done! Guess I'll have to watch that in the future. Do NOT need that reputation...
Now about that garden; supposed to rain today but I'm hoping I can get out there before it does to plant a row of spinach and lettuce. I'll leave the front row for potatoes, then do the second row in spinach both early and late, then the third row will be lettuce and green peppers. That may be it for today but I need to till more to get cantaloupe and zuccini started early as well. I've potatoes starting inside that'll be ready to go out in a couple weeks. Hope the damned beetles and moles don't get them this year.
Then once it starts rain, hopefully I'll go to work cleaning out the sewing room. Yep, not gonna make that 10 day guideline for the sewing room but ah well...things have to be flexible! Plus I need to get stuff ready for Norman Medievel Faire this weekend. Must finish the new bodice, breaking the curse of "once it's worn it never gets completed"! Gotta Dryel Bruce's doublet and kilt and need to clean boots and shoes.
Everybody's coming down to the Faire, right? Next to the last chance to see Queen's Gambit in this current incarnation!
{ED. Started raining sooner than I'd hoped. I only got a little more cultivated to what dear Br.William had hand-tilled. Yep, the tiller is a goner; we have a perfectly good engine but not a working tiller body so it's hand-tilling or nothing at this point to get the garden in. I wanted to get into shape!
But an hour's work on the garden is a good bit of work. Breakfast and flower pressing and then we'll see what the dogs let me get done before they start wrecking the house. *sigh* I love our animals. But hey, I think I stopped Bobbie from getting into the fireplace, pissing in there and then tracking ash all over the house. Yes, I LOVE the animals (repeating that so I don't kill them!)
Oh, and a perfect icon that I nabbed from
apocalypticbob which I don't even think she's used yet. Sorry? But once Bruce guffawed at it, I couldn't help but steal it...it's too perfect.

Date: 2007-03-27 06:17 pm (UTC)*sigh* I know I need to get them looked at, I just can't right now. They've been getting steadily worse with longer duration.. which bothers me. So... I'll go. When I can. *shrug* I'm not concerned overly, things happen when they're meant too.
