Invitations are in full-production mode.

I've updated the web-site briefly cause this stuff has got to get done. We made the decision awhile back that we really don't need gifts; but we acknowledge that folk want to do this more often than not. So we decided to go with requesting charitable donations for the Royal Gauntlet Bird of Prey and Animal Rehabilitation Center.

It's a wonderful alternative to buying us more stuff. OTOH, we do need some things (what home-owner does not?) so for those who really want to gift us with something, I've also registered at Lowe's. Now, they don't have a computerized registration which really sucks. So gift certificates would be the way to go, hands down.

That's about all I'm doing; it's not like we don't already have a houseful of stuff. Sure, we need sheets and yes, I'll probably link the Amazon.com wishlist in there but right now, the invitations have GOT to get out today.

Four and a half weeks and I'm going to be gone all next week....ye gods!

Even though I can ill afford the time gone, my loved ones seem to think I need a stress break.

So Mark's whisking me away for a mini-vacation in Chicago. We're driving up and back so you betcha I'll be taking stuff to work on in the car!

And I just sent you an email (part of a group, notwithstanding) about the bachelorette party! I know Julie was talking about coming down for it...

Hee hee... Jon and I discovered that we also had lots of people who wanted to give us things (which we do need since we are just beginning).

I'm just getting my invitations finished and it's making me CRAZY to wait to mail them.

What else do you have on your list to do now?

Bruce's kilt, doublet and shirt
My dress (sleeves are done and almost beaded)
Jenny's chemise, bodice, 2 skirts
AmberBob's chemise, skirt and overdress

I'm learning to designate and doing a terrible job at it because I am a wedding planner. How are you with that? Do you have someone to cut for you? Pin? Stitch beads while you tackle the parts no one else can do?

I've got just about everything else delegated for the whole wedding; must, since we'll be performing all weekend as well.

I may have some help but as I'm also designing them out of my head, that's hard to delegate!
