Ok, here are some of the new pics that heyitschris1 just took of Queen's Gambit yesterday. For the record, I'm IMMENSELY critical of pics of me and won't be using any of the individual shots of me. What an incentive to lose weight, ye gods! NOT Chris' fault by any means.

But we do need help choosing the pic which will go on our newly-written web-site. Yes, we're changing it so that we'll have less focus on Renfaires and more as professional musicians.

So....please help us choose so I won't have to do it! We all put down our preferences and these are the ones which at least two of us chose. Bruce is still working recording so he hasn't chosen any yet.

If you want to have images of a band that includes bodhran and fiddle that do not shriek Ren-Faire, then your shots need to be in an indoor venue. Period. The modern clothes help, but they just say "Ren Faire band that does the occasional pub gig"

I'm sorry. I really like the shots. But honestly, as a booking agent, I would skim right by these unless you were as well known as Blackmore or Tull.

Yeah, I good point. And in such a hurry as we're in, we didn't have access to a good indoor venue; inside our house would scream "amateur" even more than outside.

We are definitely planning an inside shoot soon as we can.

I absolutely like 12 the best of the 'open' shots. I also really like 18. I think 30 is the best picture of you, personally, but I really don't think anyone else looks that great in it.

Nice shots overall. OK, in no particular order (using corrected numbering): 7, 18, 30!, 42!

So I prefer 30 as a "promo shot" and 42 as an "action shot".

Yes, we're contracted for OKRF this year. And I haven't ever been fabric shopping in OKC...is there a good non-chain place?

And I have this "fabriholic" icon for my fabric addiction.

I would love to get together with you to shop and or eat sometime; that would be a blast!

...just wandered in from friends' list of sca or similar group, and the ones of you guys playing seem muchmuch more attractive and lively than the others, which are often "good of some, not as good of others" in my view, so I would not even consider any of those without the playing, personally...good luck agreeing on what everyone likes!
