So now I'm concerned about who may have been with Jim in that SUV, who was taken to a local area hospital with serious injuries. We know it wasn't Mary and we've heard from others who have worked with him; has anybody heard from Lyle? I have a bad feeling about this, if the person who was his passenger was headed with him to work at the California Pleasure Faire; the only person I know with that kind of time is Lyle and I'm not in contact with him; if now Lyle, then who? Thing is, if that person is in serious condition in a local hospital and is now pretty much stranded there; I'm wondering if whoever it is has any immediate family or anybody to watch out after them and visit them.

Yeah, dammit...its a part of the ministry or MotherHen or leadership; somebody had to think of these things.

Anybody know how to get ahold of Mary Hill and find out who was going out there with Jim to work at that faire?

It was some one called "Greese?" < shrugs > does not ring a bell.
not sure his condition either.
We went through the same thoughts. Mary is the mom of one of Robin's former students and long time friends.

What was said on the news report is that the passenger was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

I hope we'll find out sooner rather than later and see if there's any help needed.

I don't believe so; the name was stated in another comment. I believe this was a KCRF person but a friend he'd made at Bristol; equally sad but a bit of a relief.

If the police and hospital have followed protocol, they've opened that persons wallet/I.D. and are making attempts at contacting their family.

I think we've gotten the ball rolling. Everyone was just so stunned with the shock yesterday. Rennies are pretty good at taking care of the extended family even if we don't always know them.

The passenger was 24 y/o Jonathan Munsterman, received a laceration to his head and other unkown injuries. Full story here.

I did nothing BUT think about it Friday. I had actually read about your friends accident Friday without having any names or anything,just that a fatal accident had the road closed. I was searching all road conditions and was visiting every website I could find for Texas Panhandle and New Mexico.
