Not that I'm getting any now but boy, is it tempting.

Fabrics-store.com has their mid-weight linen on sale. When bought by the bolt; 20 yards, it comes out $6 per yard. And they've got some lovely colors.

Yeah, I'm a fabric whore, why do you ask?

They've got lovely linen at both 5.3oz and 3.5oz. I'm not so great with knowing about fabric by weight, but I'm thinking that the 3.5oz would be the better for things like shirts?

Since I'm in the process of blowing my budget sky-high... maybe I'll think about this just a touch....

Yes, the 3.5 is perfect for shirts and chemises, not quite handkerchief but close. The 5.3 is better for skirts, in fact, that mossy green skirt I wear a lot is their 5.3; has a lovely hand and washes up beautifully.

*sigh*

Since I'm shattering my September budget anyway, I just got 20 yards of the 3.5oz

Someday I need to find my motivation to actually SEW again! I've not sewn a stitch (by machine) in FOREVER (ok... June)

I SO understand that one....I'm still burned out from the wedding prep but I gotta get busy!

But right now, the sunshine and my new iris bulbs are calling me outside...
