Of COURSE, that's brilliant! Hey, our's isn't waterproof...did we get a bad one? I'm SO new to pool ownership, I wouldn't know...

It really depends...there are some heavy duty mesh covers that work primarily to keep debris out of your pool over winter, and then there are the heavy duty waterproof covers like we have. The waterproof ones are more expensive.

You know, I'd love to build one of these things just so I could paint it!
